Boulder Night Sky

Full Moon at Boulder

Been a busy week at work and been doing a lot of research on sustainable materials and looking into the area of Biomimicry. Interesting topics as well as incorporating sustainable materials into shoe products. Other then work here's a photo of the night sky here at Boulder. Going to be a short post, but I will update with some toy updates soon!

Weekend Break at Denver!

Boulder Corn Maze Entrance

The week has passed by very quickly and work went by way too fast. I kinda wish that time slowed down a bit so I can enjoy my time learning at work. During the weekend I went down to the crazy Corn Maze at the East side of Boulder and went down to Denver to explore with Maria + Calvin. Most of the time we went around looking for Snowboard equipment, Moleskin Pac-Man Edition notebooks, and ended the day making some Okonomiyaki for dinner <3

Happy Columbus Day!

View of Boulder

Happy Columbus day everyone! So it's been a week and a half since I've been here in Boulder. So far the weathers been good, but I can feel that winter is just around the corner. The night is getting darker earlier then usual and the morning is getting colder as well. As for today, I woke up and made some Alfredo Pasta while watch GLEE (suggested by an awesome Chemistry nerd, I'm just kidding!).

Went around Boulder to take some panorama's while I'm here. But I noticed that it's hard taking some nice scenery shots because of all the small buildings and malls all around the place. Hopefully I can take some nice photo's before the snow comes down. I also bought the new YO GABBA GABBA limited Dunny from Urban Outfitter yesterday when visiting Denver with some friends. I hope everyone's having a nice long weekend! Enjoy the weather while it's nice and sunny!

CP+B Internship Starts NOW!

Boulder Tea House

So it's been only my second day Intern at Crispin Porter + Bogusky and it has been pretty chill so far in my department. I am an Product Innovation Intern and at the moment I'm going through Maya and practicing on some drawings. Learning who people are at the company and getting to know the place. A lot of the other interns are pretty busy here and there, but I think once my projects starts coming in it's going to be pretty hectic.
Breakfast at Tea House Boulder

Other then work I went out to chill with Maria and Calvin at Denver during the weekend. The next morning we went to this Tea House breakfast place in Boulder. It's a nice place to have breakfast and the portions are pretty decent. The only thing that was annoying was the bee and flies flying around our food. I suggest for those that want to enjoy their meal and enjoy the sunlight, don't sit near trees and maybe near the shades. I also tried the pho here at Boulder and it's pretty good! This photo below is the medium and the large is ridiculously large. I kid you not!

Beer + Wings @ Boulder

Pearl Street filled with people during the Colorado Buffaloes game

So it's my 3rd day in Boulder and I went exploring around Boulder. Went to explore the night life at Pearl street and it turns out that the Colorado Buffaloes were playing and everyone was going craaazy. All the pubs were packed and the streets had a lot of performers and people dancing. Pretty sweet night life! I Think I'm going to be enjoying the night life here in Boulder, Colorado.

Hello Boulder, Colorado!

My Room for 3 months

So it has only been just 2 days since I arrived to Boulder. First thing I notice is that there are a lot of open land, it's super warm (30 degree's), and there are a lot of pubs & wing places. My new room mate is pretty awesome and she also has a cat named Slayer! Already went around Boulder with Calvin and Maria to get settled in for the internship. I don't start my internship at Crispin Porter + Bogusky until October 4th, but for the mean time I'm just enjoying the neighborhood and soaking up the sun.
