Back to School + Dunny Party

Dunny Series 5 Party @ Voltage from 6pm to 9pm

So just another two more days until school starts. Time seems to pass by pretty fast and it seems like there is so much to do before going back. Recently been chilling in Vancouver and spending my time at Cafe Rusticco and Oscar's Bookstore. Reading up on new design books that seems interesting to me, such as The World Is Flat: A Brief History of the Twenty-First Century by Thomas L. Friedman and Design in Italia: The Making of an Industry by Stefano Casciani. The first book, The World is Flat, was recommended by Stefanno Giovanni an Italian designer that works for Alessi.

Other then looking up some books, some good news is that my Birthday is coming up in two days along with the Dunny Series 5 party held at Voltage from 6pm - 9pm. Even though my first lecture is between 6pm to 7pm I am yet to go to the Dunny S5 party at Voltage.

Going back to school may seem weird, knowing that I've just spent my entire Summer in Italy studying the whole time there. Then all of a sudden returning back to Vancouver where everything is just the opposite. The atmosphere, the people, the noise, the air, everything seems to be different. By that can't be helped, but on the other hand Vancouver has this 'quiet-ness' that places like Rome is missing and the multicultural cuisine that Vancouver has to offer.
