Banpresto One Piece Colosseum

Finally seeing some updates on Banpresto's One Piece Colosseum, similar to what Banpresto did for the Dragon Ball Z Tankaichi Colosseum series. Finally getting some images of interesting figure sculpts here and not just the usual Mugiwara crew. Seeing some interesting new characters coming up like Jango, Enel, Dalton, Lucci, X-Drake, etc. Here are some photo's of their prototypes. Enjoy!

Bartholomew Kuma vs. Kidd & Law

Had more time on my hand to do some toy photography so decided to remake some scene's with the current figures I have on me at the moment. Very satisfied that Kuma came in after the long wait. Here are just two photo's I have taken, though they are just inside of my room. I'm hoping that the next few days would be sunny so I would go outside to take some photo's by then. Here are some releases by Bandai's Figuarts One Piece series that was just released on AmiAmi Online Shop. As expected they are currently sold out, but seeing that they are made by Bandai they will have many more in stock. So if you missed the pre-orders for this series, don't worry, they will have many more in stock! here are some of the photo's of the releases.

One Piece Pirate Ships

MegaHouse: Yura Yura Pirate Ship Collection #3

Here are some interesting One Piece related toys I have found while I was looking around Otacute. There are a few companies such as Megahouse, Bandai, and Plex working on some pirate ships for each One Piece character groups. MegaHouse has one called the Yura-Yura (wobbling) Pirate Ship Collection and Plex has their Super Ship Collection. Both are pretty awesome in my opinion. If you want more of a chibi-fied pirate ship, go with the MegaHouse version, but if you are looking for a more detailed look but miniature pirate ship then go with Plex. Bandai has also released a build kit model of the Going-Merry and the Thousand Sunny-Go ships as well. Take a look here and see which one you guys prefer to add to your collection.

Banpresto Grand Line Men: Red Hair Shanks

Banpresto Grand Line Men: Red Hair Shanks

Here's a short post of Banpresto's Grand Line Men: Shank, which also came out with Ben Beckman for the Vol.11 release. Compared to it's previous version of Shanks, they have change the color on his skin tone along with the color tone on his clothes as well. I like the facial expression on the first version of Shanks, but since I can't find him anywhere this version will have to do. Shanks comes with the following: base plate, cape, sword, sword case, and the figure itself. Putting the sword in his hand may be a little difficult but don't worry about breaking the piece. The sword is made out of a very soft plastic, which is flexible in these situations. Here's a small gallery of the figure. Enjoy!

From my last update from my trip from Japan, I posted a small photo of the unopened Banpresto Grand Line Men: Ben Beckman and Shanks. I made some time to take a few proper photo's of the figures and they both look fantastic! I think between Ben Beckman and Shanks I like the details on Ben Beckman more that I like Shanks. Even though Shanks is one of my favorite characters in the One Piece series. Enough with the long post, here are some photo's of Ben Beckman. Enjoy!

Here is Banpresto's Will of D series, similar to the Grand Line Men series. This was the only reason I bought this one was because it was the only one with Gol D. Roger in his handcuffs, which had the best color and details on the figure compared to all of the other Gol D. Roger figures. Although Banpresto has released another version of Gol D. Haven't posted anything in a while, due to traveling and right now I am currently in Japan near Fukkouka. I will be planning on visiting Tokyo in the next 3 days so that should be pretty interesting to see what has happened to Japan ever since the earthquake. Other than that I went to play my first UFO Catcher game and came out with these prizes. Banpresto DX Grand Line Men Shanks and Ben Beckman, both of which are amazing. I have opened them to check on their quality and they are looking fantastic. I can't wait to go back home to review them and post up some photo's of them. They have a lot of quantity left in the UFO catchers in Japan, so if you happen to be in any part of Japan, I would suggest trying your luck and grabbing one or both of these. It is a must!

Grand Line Men: Silvers Rayleigh

Writing a short review of the Grand Line Men: Silver Rayleigh by Banpresto. Probably one of my favorite G.L.M (Grand Line Men) characters I have at the moment. The attention to details on his coat and his facial expression is just amazing. The figure comes with the following: Base stand, coat, sword, and the figure itself. As mentioned from the previous GLM posts, Rayleigh can not be posed on his own because of the pegs on the bottom of his feet. However, I have seen some people cutting off the pegs and making him posable, but that is up to your own risk. Personally I like the stands so I like to keep him on his base. For those looking for a small budget One Piece characters, the Grand Line Men series by Banpresto is the way to go. Here are some photo's I have taken earlier, enjoy!
