P.O.P Limited DX - Shanks

Here are some up coming awesome P.O.P (Portrait of Pirates) Limited DX and Sailing Again editions for next year. For the Limited DX line we have Califa, Gol D. Roger, Sadi-chan, and Shanks (New World). For the Sailing Again series, we have Trafalgar Law and Franky. Mega House is also planning on bringing out Shiki from the One Piece Strong World series as well but the date of his pre-order is not yet released. I apologize to my subscribers for the very delayed post! I have been really busy the last months with work and trying to find some time to write a post. I will try to get on top of that in the next few weeks! Grand Line Men: One Piece Film Z Edition

Some of you may know that Banpresto Grand Line Men/Lady are introducing their One Piece Film Z edition figures. First we have Luffy and Usopp for Grand Line Men. For Grand Line Lady, we are getting Nami and Ain (Movie character). Though this is not part of the Grand Line series, I am loving the character designs on these and will probably plan on getting at least the Mugiwara crew for sure. P.O.P DX Eustass Kidd & Killer

I apologize for the late blog. I haven't had much time to update as much as I use to back in Vancouver. I have however been ordering a bunch of figures and sent them back home to Vancouver so hopefully during my visit back in the Winter, I would be able to post some photos of what I have waiting for me.

Getting back on topic, here is an update of the most recent figures from the P.O.P (Portrait of Pirates) DX series: Eustass Kidd & Killer. Both of which look fantastic and the details are always spot on. I told myself that I won't be collecting any more P.O.P's since I finished collecting my Shichibukai set, finally bought Crocodile. Also I made a exception for ordering a Limited Luffy P.O.P since I don't have a normal version of him other than a Strong World version.

Here are some photos of Kidd and Killer. Once I have the chance to visit Vancouver again, I will post some photos of some (haha lies....many) of the figures I have ordered since I have been here in San Francisco. Enjoy!

D.P.C.F Black & White Edition

D.P.C.F (Doors Painting Collection Figure) has decided to bring out a Black & White edition of the Three Musketeers. Basically it's just a 2-tone version from their colored version but just costs a lot more because it's a limited edition. I assume that D.P.C.F had a lot of these still in stock and decided to make a limited edition of them. For those that already have the colored edition, I personally wouldn't get the limited edition just because the colored version was done really well and it's a shame that they just made a limited edition of just black and white. I wish they did a alternative color instead. For those that are planning on getting the limited edition, I would wait for a while until the prices goes down, just like how the original colored version did. Enjoy.

Banpresto Grand Line Men: Franky

Finally seeing some photos of Franky for his Grand Line Men series by Banpresto. He is among the first of this series to have interchangeable heads. He comes with his normal short hair version and his secondary head is with his usual long funky hair style. Here are some photo. Enjoy!

P.O.P DX New World

Hey guys, here are some new updates on some up coming P.O.P DX New World characters. I apologize for the lack of updates that I've had on the blog. I will definitely try to blog more, but because most of my orders are back in Vancouver you will all see a increase in posts around December.

Here are some P.O.P (Portrait of Pirates) DX and Sailing Again characters. We have Captain Kid, Killer, Chopper (Kung-Fu Point), and Perona as well. For Kid and Killer, they don't seem to be the New World version, since we haven't seen them yet. The version you are seeing are from the Shabondy Archipelago arc for those that are wondering. Enjoy!

D.P.C.F-DX Crocodille

Been a while since I had some time to post something up. I apologize to my readers that I have been away for a while. Getting settled in with work and most of my figures that I bought are all sent to Canada so I couldn't do any photo shoots for some of my figures. Once I return during Christmas there will be quite a few posts that will appear! Keep in touch by then!

Now back to topic, D.P.C.F-DX is releasing their new line of the Shogun series starting with Crocodile. I posted a while back of the prototype of Crocodile and they released his full painted version of him. They are also making Buggy as well, which looks pretty awesome from the prototypes. I personally was thinking of starting the D.P.C.F series for the shogun version, but decided not to due to the new release of Banpresto Ships and Special series that is coming out.

I am also starting to collect some Dragon Ball figures from the Banpresto Tenkaichi line and some Lupin figures as well. Both Lupin and Dragon ball figures were something I wanted to collect for a long time, but because they already had so many versions and the quality was not as good back then I waited for a while. With the quality being better I decided to start collecting some now. I will post photos once I return home and get a hold of my figures. For now enjoy some of the up coming figures. Enjoy!

P.O.P Sailing Again - Usopp

Been a while since I last updated the blog. Finally settled down in San Francisco and work has been coming in quite a lot. Been ordering a bunch of figures as well, but sadly I shipped them all back in Vancouver. Can't wait until Christmas since I have 8 boxes of figures waiting for me!

Enough of my personal life, here is a old update which some of you might know. Mega House released their P.O.P (Portrait of Pirates) Sailing Again Usopp just recently. He comes with several variations of faces along with different pose-able arms as well. His sculpt and the color are both done really well. Also Robin's Sailing Again version should be coming out very shortly as well. Recently AmiAmi had a bunch of restocks for certain figures, but like always they are always sold out.

I would suggest that if you couldn't get your hands on any P.O.P figure that you wanted, try checking out Mandarake. Although it is a bit more expensive, due to people selling them at a higher price, but once that starts to die down it's not too bad. Most of my Grand Line Men/Lady series comes from Mandarake and I highly recommend it! Today is a short blog and I will end it with the promo poster for Usopp. Enjoy!

Banpresto Grand Line Series

Here are some update on some awesome Banpresto Grand Line series. We finally got some new updates on the Grand Line Lady line along with some up coming Grand Line Men as well as Children series as well. From Grand Line Men we have Franky and Brook; for Grand Line Lady we have Olivia and Robin; finally for Grand Line Children we have Sanji and Usopp.

For sure I am collecting the Grand Line Men and Lady, but will be passing on with the Grand Line Children series. The details on them for sure is spot on and they are in perfect scale for the P.O.P (Portrait of Pirates), but not for the Grand Line Men/Lady series. Portrait of Pirates Updates

As some of you may have seen on the web, MegaHouse has released some of their newest prototypes for the coming months. Here are some new prototypes along with some unexpected characters that made it into the line. We have showing P.O.P DX, Sailing Again, and possibly a new line. Take a look. Enjoy!

P.O.P DX Donquixote Doflamingo

Finally got my P.O.P DX Doflamingo just before leaving for San Francisco. I took these a while ago and didn't get to post them up yet. At long last I finally got one of my favorite Shichibukai characters. For those that are planning on ordering him after seeing photos online, beware, his box is HUGE!! But none the less if you are a fan of Doflamingo, he is for sure the one to get.

He comes with three separate head pieces, a base, and his body. I kind of wish he came with more parts other than the heads, but his facial expression does capture his characteristic so that's fine. I am a bit worried in the long run where he will begin to lean on one side. He is mainly supported by one leg, while the other foot is standing on his toes. Over time I can see him leaning too much, which might cause some issues later. If you plan on displaying him, have something supporting his weight from his arms or even from his coat. D.P.C.F One Piece Updates

We have some new prototypes of some up coming D.P.C.F (Door Painting Collection Figures) that some of you may be interested. As you know D.P.C.F are known to make figures based off of full color posters such as the Three Musketeers, Animal Kingdom, Western Series (chopper), and Nefertari Pirates (Vivi version). This time we are seeing a addition to the Animal Kingdom with Luffy that will go along with Nami, which she is already out on the market. I personally find that D.P.C.F are doing a better job at capturing Luffy's face compared to some of his P.O.P releases. The details on him are pretty awesome and it's nice to see him in a different concept form.

We also have a new prototype coming out with the Imperial Down escape crew in a Shogun series. We have a prototype of Crocodile out first that's not colored, but I'm sure we'll see a colored version of him really soon. Seeing that this, Shogun series has started, we should be expecting to see some other figures which may include, Ivankov, Inazuma, Buggy, Mr 2 and 3, and also Jinbei. Seeing how long they take to bring these guys out, the may only do some characters. I would only assume the main characters would be made into production.
