Banpresto Grand Line Men: Franky

Finally seeing some photos of Franky for his Grand Line Men series by Banpresto. He is among the first of this series to have interchangeable heads. He comes with his normal short hair version and his secondary head is with his usual long funky hair style. Here are some photo. Enjoy!

Banpresto Grand Line Series

Here are some update on some awesome Banpresto Grand Line series. We finally got some new updates on the Grand Line Lady line along with some up coming Grand Line Men as well as Children series as well. From Grand Line Men we have Franky and Brook; for Grand Line Lady we have Olivia and Robin; finally for Grand Line Children we have Sanji and Usopp.

For sure I am collecting the Grand Line Men and Lady, but will be passing on with the Grand Line Children series. The details on them for sure is spot on and they are in perfect scale for the P.O.P (Portrait of Pirates), but not for the Grand Line Men/Lady series. They are a great addition to your collection, but I will have to pass on these guys. Here are some photo's from the Choppermania Blog. Take a look at their site as well! Enjoy!

Happy Easter & P.O.P Updates

I apologize for being away from the blog. I recently attended the Sakura Con 2012 in Seattle and was too busy to blog at the time. I'm just going to post up a small update on some pretty sweet P.O.P (Portrait of Pirates) that are coming up, as well as a new Franky docking add-on update as well. First off for the P.O.P Sailing Again, we have Brook with what seems to look like a icicle sword and we have P.O.P DX Arlong with his sword and his teeth chopping weapon.

Both of these look really sweet and I would highly recommend for those collecting One Piece New World characters, these would be the choice. For me, I decided I wouldn't be collecting the P.O.P Sailing Again series because of cost and also lack of space in my room. Otherwise, I would be collecting these guy by now.

We have a new update on the Docking Franky figure, but this time with his mini tank. We saw Franky coming out with new ridiculous vehicles and this pretty much shows what kind of things he might bring out next. Here's a small photo of the tank. Enjoy!

Banpresto 2012 Hobby Festival

Banpresto's 2012 Hobby Festival has finally came and they have introduced a lot of awesome One Piece figures. Especially with some pretty awesome Grand Line Men/Children series as well as Vol.0 figures as well. Here are some of the up coming figures for the Grand Line series: Shiki, Franky (New World), Kaku, and Zoro (children). They have finally introduced the Thousand Sunny similar to the Memories of Going Merry, which was out last year. Can't wait for these to finally come out!!

All these photo's are taken from Dengeki Blog: Banpresto 2012, so be sure to check out their site. They have many more photo's featuring other figures as well! I wish I could be there myself as well!

Jump Festival 2012 Ichiban Kuji Update

Here are some more Ichiban Kuji updates I found on some blogs and forums you guys might be interested in. First we have two, A Prize ichiban kuji's of Gol D. Roger and White Beard (Roger's Era edition), both of which they look pretty awesome. For those that are wanting to get Banpresto's Grand Line Men version of Roger, I would think again before buying that. The Ichiban Kuji version basically have the same pose, the only difference is the details, the height of the figures and vibrant colors on the two. If you're looking for more of a lighter vibrant color of Roger and perhaps a little taller then the Grand Line Men series, I would choose the ichiban kuji version. However, if you prefer to get a darker colored version of him and would like to keep the consistency of your other Grand Line Men figures, then I would choose the Grand Line Men version. I am torn between the two right now, but depending on the price, I might be going for Grand Line Men series, but if the prices are not too different and the height is similar to a MSP figure then I might go for the Ichiban Kuji. Wanting to let Roger stand beside my MSP Ace if the height of the figure are very similar. Here are some photo's of the other figures from the festival. Enjoy.

2012 JUMP Festival: P.O.P MegaHouse

Here is the updates on the new P.O.P (Portrait of Pirates) Sailing Again and DX series. We have an update from the DX series of Ben Beckman and Moria. It is said that they confirmed that Moria's arms are not changeable, but might be considered just a static pose but with different items that comes with him. I assume it would be something similar to Akainu with different bat elements or action items. For the Sailing Again series, we have an update on Brook, Usopp, Robin, and Franky sculpt confirmed. I love Brook's pose and sculpt; I wish I was collecting the Sailing Again series, but it wasn't enough for me to collect the whole group. For me personally I wouldn't just get one of them and not consider getting the others, even though Zoro, Brook, and Usopp all look fantastic. Here are some photo's found online from the JUMP Festival conference.

Figuarts One Piece New World Ver.

Figuarts One Piece New World (Time Skip) ver.

Here's a small update (delayed - sorry about the late notice) on Figuarts version of the One Piece New World Version of this series. Compared to Banpresto, Figuarts came out with their version first but the pose and builds are pretty close. This just depends on which pose you collectors prefer better compared to one another. Personally I like Banpresto's poses and because I have already started a collection of Banpresto figures I would like to have a good consistency of the figures I buy. Here are some photo's of the latest pre-orders from AmiAmi Online Store, but knowing that this is by Bandai there will be many more in stock. I guarantee!!
