Portrait of Pirates Updates

As some of you may have seen on the web, MegaHouse has released some of their newest prototypes for the coming months. Here are some new prototypes along with some unexpected characters that made it into the line. We have showing P.O.P DX, Sailing Again, and possibly a new line. Take a look. Enjoy!

2012 JUMP Festival: P.O.P MegaHouse

Here is the updates on the new P.O.P (Portrait of Pirates) Sailing Again and DX series. We have an update from the DX series of Ben Beckman and Moria. It is said that they confirmed that Moria's arms are not changeable, but might be considered just a static pose but with different items that comes with him. I assume it would be something similar to Akainu with different bat elements or action items. For the Sailing Again series, we have an update on Brook, Usopp, Robin, and Franky sculpt confirmed. I love Brook's pose and sculpt; I wish I was collecting the Sailing Again series, but it wasn't enough for me to collect the whole group. For me personally I wouldn't just get one of them and not consider getting the others, even though Zoro, Brook, and Usopp all look fantastic. Here are the promo posters for the new P.O.P (Portrait of Pirates) Sailing Again series with Luffy & Chopper. As mentioned before the figures pre-orders are closed and sold out. However seeing that these figures aren't that hard to get (maybe Nami), I would either wait until their release or check out Otacute since they haven't had their pre-orders in yet.

MegaHouse has just released their new P.O.P (Portraits of Pirates) line Sailing Again for their Time Skip figures. For those keeping up with the pre-orders, P.O.P Nami, Luffy, and Chopper will be released sometime tonight. Keep a look out for them on AmiAmi, Otacute, HLJ, and other Online Stores. I don't have the direct links at the moment, but even if I post them up they may be already sold out. Personally I am going to skip this series and just continue collecting the Banpresto figures just because of the cost and the amount of details on the characters is already satisfying. Wonder Festival Summer 2011 One Piece Reveals

P.O.P New World: Luffy & Chopper

Here are a few nice releases and some new prototypes from the recent Wonder Festival Summer 2011 event held in Tokyo. They released a few updates on the P.O.P (Portrait of Pirates) Time Skip version of Luffy, Zoro, Chopper, and Nami. They brought some updates of Kizaru and surprisingly a new version of Garp from the Strong World or Vol. 0 series. There are some minor photo's for Banpresto's Grand Line Men/Women/Children as well, which I can't wait for some of the new releases!! Especially for the Time Skip version's!! But enough with the long post and take a look at the photo gallery.

P.O.P Time Skip Nami, Luffy, Zoro, & Chopper

Here are a bunch of new P.O.P (Portrait of Pirates) One Piece characters that has been announced and will possibly coming out during the summer & fall. The following P.O.P DX are God Enel, Admiral Kizaru, and Admira Akainu, P.O.P Mild Child are Sabo, Ace, & Luffy. Finally MegaHouse has also announced their One Piece Time Skip versions and they have announced: Luffy, Zoro, Nami, and Chopper at the moment. Also there is a Special Collaboration figure set with Luffy & Toriko as well, although from what I have read so far is that only 1000 of the Luffy & Toriko sets are made. This will be pretty pricy to get a hold of, I guarantee!!
