Figuarts ZERO: Animal Edition

Figuarts ZERO are starting to extend there new Animal series by adding in three new characters to this line. We have White Beard as Polar Bear, Ace as Panther, and Black Beard as Hippo. I would love to get myself a Ace Panther version, but seeing how much these guys go for I would spend my money on a few (2-3) Grand Line figures. From what I have seen on the web so far, these guys are pretty tall (probably close to a P.O.P height), but I may be wrong. If there is anyone that can confirm the height of these characters, that would be great! Enjoy!

Banpresto 2012 One Piece Convention

Banpresto's 2012 One Piece convention has started just three days from now and from all the photo's being shown online, there are so many awesome figures that I thought I would like to share with you all. All the images can be found from the following links at the bottom of this post, but here is a list of Banpresto's up coming releases. Check out their blogs as well! There are a lot of other figures other than One Piece characters and some pretty awesome prototypes being shown.

Banpresto Ichiban Kuji: The Legend of Edward Newgate & The Legend of Gol D. Roger, Girl's Collection: Shirahoshi, Hancock, and Perona, and Chopper & Creatures.

From The Grand Line Series: Grand Line Men - Garp, Young Shanks, Shiki (all Vol.0), Franky (Vol.13), and Grand Line Ships Vol.1 & 2 - Thousand Sunny and Moby Dick.

From Banpresto SCultures and SCultures BIG we have the figures from the One Piece Colosseum. I am aware that some people on forums have been asking about what the difference is between the SCulture and SCulture BIG series, but to my best knowledge I am unsure of myself. Some people state that the figures are a little taller for SCulture BIG but there are characters such as Nami being labelled BIG where as X-Drake is still the regular SCulture. If I do however find out more information on this, I will post an update on this matter.

From what I have seen so far, I am pretty excited about the Ichiban Kuji: Chopper & Creatures releases since they have Karu and a bunch of well detailed characters. There is a mystery character that has not been uncovered but who ever the character is, it should be awesome! If you have any question on any of the resource links provided at the bottom, please leave a comment and I will get back to you on that! Enjoy!

Figuarts ZERO: One Piece

Here are just some updates on some up coming Figuarts ZERO figures coming out as well as some neat Chibi Kyun Kara figures for Ichiban Kuji as well. We are finally seeing Kuma, Smoker, and Tashigi from the Figuarts series. Unfortunately they are not the New World series, but knowing Bandai, they will make a New World version of them very soon depending on their popularity. For Kyun Kara for Ichiban Kuji, we have Akagami Pirates as well as some White Beard Pirate crew members. From what I know White Beard is a A Prize figure while the others are B-E Prize figures.

All these photo's are from Chopper-Mania's Blog so take a look over there! They have some neat things as well but they are in Japanese. If there are specific updates that you would like to read but it's in Japanese, send me a link and I will update the content in english. Enjoy!

Jump Festival 2012 Ichiban Kuji Update

Here are some more Ichiban Kuji updates I found on some blogs and forums you guys might be interested in. First we have two, A Prize ichiban kuji's of Gol D. Roger and White Beard (Roger's Era edition), both of which they look pretty awesome. For those that are wanting to get Banpresto's Grand Line Men version of Roger, I would think again before buying that. The Ichiban Kuji version basically have the same pose, the only difference is the details, the height of the figures and vibrant colors on the two. If you're looking for more of a lighter vibrant color of Roger and perhaps a little taller then the Grand Line Men series, I would choose the ichiban kuji version. However, if you prefer to get a darker colored version of him and would like to keep the consistency of your other Grand Line Men figures, then I would choose the Grand Line Men version. I am torn between the two right now, but depending on the price, I might be going for Grand Line Men series, but if the prices are not too different and the height is similar to a MSP figure then I might go for the Ichiban Kuji. Wanting to let Roger stand beside my MSP Ace if the height of the figure are very similar. Here are some photo's of the other figures from the festival. Enjoy.

Banpresto Super DX Ace

P.O.P White Beard & Banpresto Super DX Ace

Finally got my hands on Banpresto's Super DX Ace. Found him at the local figure store and he was being sold for 70$, compared to buying him online for $120+ I just spent it there instead. Very satisfied of how the figures made, but I do wish that the paint job on him was a little better in certain areas. None the less, here are some photo's. Enjoy.
