D.P.C.F Black & White Edition

D.P.C.F (Doors Painting Collection Figure) has decided to bring out a Black & White edition of the Three Musketeers. Basically it's just a 2-tone version from their colored version but just costs a lot more because it's a limited edition. I assume that D.P.C.F had a lot of these still in stock and decided to make a limited edition of them. For those that already have the colored edition, I personally wouldn't get the limited edition just because the colored version was done really well and it's a shame that they just made a limited edition of just black and white. I wish they did a alternative color instead. For those that are planning on getting the limited edition, I would wait for a while until the prices goes down, just like how the original colored version did. Enjoy.

Banpresto Grand Line Men Vol.12 - Roronoa Zoro

Here he is. The legendary man himself, Banpresto Grand Line Men Vol.12 Roronoa Zoro. He is by far, my most favorite character from the Grand Line Men series. The details on him is excellent and each accessory has a lot of detail as well. He come in seven parts: (1) Base, (1) Body, (3) Swords, (1) Right arm, and (1) his belt. I love how the sculptor carefully thought out how to put his swords and the belt together, instead of pulling them and pushing them through a tiny opening where the paint might be scratched.

The details on his clothing is done really well, similar to the Will of D. Roger figure. The sword itself has a lot of detail as well and they all fit nicely with the figure. When the belt wraps around the swords, it actually looks like they were slipped into a tiny opening, but instead they are carefully placed one by one and then wrapping the whole thing together. Again, well thought out. If you are a Zoro fan, the Banpresto Grand Line Men version of him is one to add into you collection. Here is a gallery of the figure. Enjoy!

One Piece Stacking Vignette Box

Found some interesting One Piece candy box toys I found while looking around AmiAmi and thought I would write a short review about them. Bandai has just released their orders for Stacking Vignette One Piece - Episode Fishman Island figures. These come with 5 characters per box, along with a piece of gum. These mini figures comes with a character piece as well as a counter part, which can also be put together with one another.

The figures can be put together along with the counter parts which creates a mini model of the Fishman Island Arc. The set of 5 comes out to be 2,040 JPY or roughly around 25$ Canadian depending on the shipping will change the final price. Take a look at these figures and enjoy!

Banpresto & MegaHouse Promo Posters!!

Can't wait for this month's Banpresto releases!! For Banpresto's Grand Line Men series we have Sanji, Zoro, and Chopper coming out at the end of this month; most likely around the 28th or so. Collectors, be sure to look out for them on Mandarake since I'm sure once they are on there, they will sell out really fast!

We also have some up coming figures from MegaHouse's P.O.P (Portrait of Pirates) series as well. I can't wait for my DonFlamingo and Moria to come out soon, but at the same time I am very worried since I need to save up for those two because of their shipping cost! None the less I am VERY close to finishing my collection of Shichibukai characters!

Currently thinking about buying P.O.P NEO Shanks since I love him so much and at the same time thinking about getting Ben Beckman if I so happen to get Shanks. The only thing I'm worried is MegaHouse releasing a New World version of Shanks to go with Ben Beckman, but this might not happen for a while since they just entered new world. We will see. Enjoy!

Bandai Figuarts Zoro & Mihawk Promo

Since I've already finished a review on Cobby and Helmeppo, here is a promo photo of the coming Figuarts Zoro and Mihawk with their dynamic poses. Although Zoro's New World figure has already been released I assume that they wanted to have another Zoro figure out in the market in competition to Banpresto's Zoro, which was made during the One Piece Colosseum. Enjoy!

Banpresto 2012 Hobby Festival

Banpresto's 2012 Hobby Festival has finally came and they have introduced a lot of awesome One Piece figures. Especially with some pretty awesome Grand Line Men/Children series as well as Vol.0 figures as well. Here are some of the up coming figures for the Grand Line series: Shiki, Franky (New World), Kaku, and Zoro (children). They have finally introduced the Thousand Sunny similar to the Memories of Going Merry, which was out last year. Can't wait for these to finally come out!!

All these photo's are taken from Dengeki Blog: Banpresto 2012, so be sure to check out their site. They have many more photo's featuring other figures as well! I wish I could be there myself as well!

P.O.P DX Admiral Kizaru & Roronoa Zoro (New World)

P.O.P Sailing Again: Roronoa Zoro (New World)

Here are a few new updates on the coming P.O.P (Portrait of Pirates) DX & Sailing Again series. Both coming out for pre-orders tonight are P.O.P DX Admiral Kizaru and P.O.P Sailing Again: Roronoa Zoro, both of which look fantastic. The additional items that come with Admiral Kizaru is pretty awesome and I am happy to see that MegaHouse has decided to include another Zoro face with him holding the sword in his mouth.

P.O.P DX: Admiral Kizaru

For those that are starting to get into collecting P.O.P's this would be a nice time to start collecting the Mugiwara New World version, since compare to the older one's the sculpt and poses were pretty simple and mind you that they were just starting when this series got really popular. Personally for me, I won't be collecting the P.O.P's for this series just because of the limited space I have in my room and also the cost of which these fantastic figures are. I will however consider buying certain characters if they decide to bring those out, like the other Shichibukai's but because of the Sailing Again series launching I hope they won't abandon the DX series and bring out a new one.

Banpresto One Piece Colosseum

Banpresto One Piece Colosseum

Finally seeing some updates on Banpresto's One Piece Colosseum, similar to what Banpresto did for the Dragon Ball Z Tankaichi Colosseum series. Finally getting some images of interesting figure sculpts here and not just the usual Mugiwara crew. Seeing some interesting new characters coming up like Jango, Enel, Dalton, Lucci, X-Drake, etc. Here are some photo's of their prototypes. Enjoy!

Banpresto One Piece Fair

Here are some photo's taken by DengekiOnline at the Banpresto Convention in Tokyo. They have a few new releases and a few new updates on the coming Grand Line Men/Children series. No information on the Grand Line Ladies at the moment, but hoping within the next few day we will see some. At the moment here are some of the following Grand Line Men: Marco, Gol D. Roger, Roronoa Zoro (New World/Time Skip), and Sanji (New World/Time Skip). As for Grand Line Children, Lucchi is set to be released probably for Vol.3 since Vol 2 would be Ace & Boa Hancock.

Grand Line Men Yasopp, Luffy & Usopp (Time Skip)

Grand Line Men: Luffy (New World) Vol. 10

Here are some of the up coming releases in this months Banpresto Grand Line Men series. Starting in mid-September, Banpresto Grand Line Men: Yasopp and Zoro will be coming out. Following in mid-October New World version of Luffy and Usopp is coming out next. Personally I won't be getting the Zoro for the September release, since the New World series has just started coming out, therefore I will just get the New World version of Zoro instead. I was still debating on getting the P.O.P versions of the New World Mugiwara crew but decided not to. For some reasons (1) cost/shipping, (2) detail - example on luffy's belt is a little different on the P.O.P versus Banpresto's version, and (3) space to put them in. Although the P.O.P versions do look pretty fantastic, but for me personally I am going to stick with the Banpresto line instead of collecting more P.O.P's.
