Object Week!!

So this whole week I have been seeing and buying a few random objects and exhibits. First, on tuesday I went to see Objectified, a documentary film by Gary Hustwit. The film was obviously about objects and their complexity from the manufacture to the designers that make them. If you have not seen it check it out and for those who already watched it, go buy it when it comes out!!

Other movies I saw was The Soloist, which was beautiful!! A movie about trying to help change someone's life and all it may need is just one friend that can make a difference - Check out the true story of The Soloist here on the Los Angeles Times. A very enlighning movie from my perspective. Other then watching movies I was wondering around Vancouver again, going out to cafe Rusticco, and exploring other parts of Vancouver.

LOVE STORY (Taylor Swift) meets VIVA LA VIDA (Coldplay)
Piano Cello - by Jon Schmidt

School started again. This time, suprisingly I am not taking any Interactive Art & Tech. courses for the summer. But what I am taking is a Business course called Creativity in Business, which is studying the emotional and behavioral side of storytelling and applying that to design concepts to make them be more 'real'. The first part of the course talks about who we are as an individual and once we have an understanding of our selfs, then we can begin to explore how to understand emotion. Quite interesting from the first day of class. Other then going to class and wondering around Vancouver, I have been recently listening to LOVE STORY (Taylor Swift) meets VIVA LA VIDA (Coldplay) - Piano Cello - by Jon Schmidt. I hope you guys will enjoy listening to this!!
