Summer Fun!!!

Long Beach Tofino 2009

So over the past few weeks I've been pretty busy going out here and there. Last week I went to Tofino for the first time and it was fantastic!!!.... we went surfing, sunset touring, eating awesome food, relaxing along the beach, and rally style driving (while Poh was my Navigator). This is also the first time that I had a flat tire once I came back from Tofino and went to see the Celebration of Lights 2009. So from that I had a chance to see what my car looked like from the bottom. It was pretty crazy and while the mechanic was changing my tires for my car it sounds just like the F1 garages during a pit check point. Loving the sound of those tire changing tools.

The coming up weeks I am hoping that there will be more surfing before I am going back to school. I technically only have 2 semesters left and I can graduate with a Bachelor of Science with a Design concentration, but I think I might extend that so I can get into an internship at IDEO or another design facility. Other then that, my summer semester is almost ending and I'm sad that the class is coming to an end. My professor Ginger Grant is leaving SFU after this semester and most likely will be going to either New Zealand or Australia. Hope I can keep on contact with her, because she is probably one of those mentors that I would not want to stay disconnected with.

As for the rest of my summer I will be chilling, biking, keeping myself busy, shopping for some summer/fall clothing, and seeing if I can attend more firework events!!! I also just applied for a Flickr account so now you guys can see most of my photo's on my Flickr account rather then me having to post all my photo's on a tiny image box like the one's I did for Rome. You can follow my Flickr account just by clicking here
