Shopping in Vancouver

EVE Figure from Wall-E

Lately I have been going around Vancouver and other locations to do some window shopping as well as buying something that catches my attention. Recently, I just bought Eve from Wall-E at Toys R' Us and I must say its fabulous. The parts are connected by strong magnets so they keep their positions and the detail they put into the gun and nice. There was also another version of Eve where you can change the expression on her face which is also nice. I would probably get that one as well, but for now I am satisfied with this version of Eve.

Today I went window shopping in Granville Island to look at some snowboards. Went with a few friends that bought their board today. They had a few good deals. Decent Burton 2007 bindings and a Ride board for under 300$, which is a pretty good deal to me. I am still waiting for boxing day to come so I can buy my snowboard, but for now I am still sticking with my FireFly Techno 2000. Although its 8 years old, still works fine in the snow. By boxing day I am planning on buying either the Burton 2009: Clash, Salomon 2009: Special, Rome 2009: Cheaptrick, K2 2009: Dark Star, or Ride 2009: Antic. Depending on the Boxing day sale I would consider getting on of those boards. Mainly leaning towards the Salomon Special, Burton Clash, or the Ride Antic at the moment.
