40th Weekly Jump Anniversary

Finally got my hands on the Banpresto DragonBall Z x One Piece cross-over figures. These two are ridiculous to look out for. Lucky enough I saw them being posted on the Arlong forum for Mandarake Online, which for those who are looking for something rare you should check that site out. These two are out of print and have been made in 2008 for the 40th anniversary of Weekly Jump. The two are a collaboration cross-over, where Luffy is wearing Goku's clothes and vise versa.

When comparing the two, Goku seems to have more details on his clothes and body sculpt than Luffy. This might be due to the time when One Piece was just starting their Banpresto line. If you compare the One Piece figures now, they have increased their quality by a lot. But on the other hand, if you happen to see these two lying around a store or anything, GET THEM because you will probably not find any other figures that does a cross over like this. Banpresto did make a second version where they use the Dragon Ball and the Devil Fruit cross-over, but that didn't seem too interesting to me. Enjoy the small photo gallery of the figures.
