Nendoroid Petite: K-On! figure

For those that were interested in the K-On! Nendoroid series but couldn't find the money or space to buy each individual ones, look no further! Good Smile Company just released a petite version of the K-On! series characters with everyone included along with a swim suit version as well! The only difference between this and the regular Nendoroid versions are the changeable faces. Unlike the individuals, these petite version's don't come with changeable faces and accessories. Accessories such as Tea set from Mugi and neko mimi + neko from Azusa. But for those that just want a set of the K-On! nendoroids, this is perfect for you!...Take a look and perhaps consider adding these for your collection.
Pre-orders can be found at AmiAmi Online Store for 4,750 yen.

Katsura Hinagiku Nendoroid!!!

Katsura Hinagiku Nendoroid
Just when I thought I wouldn't be spending anything for a while, Good Smile Company decides to release a new series. As the title states the new series is the Hayate no Gotoku "Hayate Combat Butler" Nendoroid series and the first character release is no other then the gorgeous Katsura Hinagiku. For sure I will be looking out for the Hinagiku Nendoroid, but I am worried what other characters they will be bringing out within this series. The confirmed characters at the moment are Hinagiku and Hayate, and I am pretty sure they will release a Nagi soon as well.

Nakano Azusa Nendoroid #104

Finally the last member of the K-On! Nendoroid series, here's a review of the Nakano Azusa Nendoroid #104 by Good Smile Company. Azusa's Nendoroid is very similar to Yui in terms of accessories and Mio's in terms of hair and facial expression (by this I mean the "moe" look). The Azusa Nendoroid has fine details on her guitar and the amp, and she also comes with a Neko Mimi (ねこみみ) - Kitten Ears Cosplay item, which was introduced in Episode 9 from Season 1. The set also comes with a small kitten, which in the anime Azusa is always distracted when she comes across any cat/kittens on her way home. The expression that Azusa comes with is pretty awesome; she comes with her normal look, distracted/embarrassed look, and also her moe 'nya' look (kitten pose).
Azusa comes with the following items in the box: (3) changeable faces, (1) Guitar, guitar strap, and amp set, (1) kitten, (1) stand set, (1) pair of pig-tails. Some people find Azusa a little hard to pose because of the length of the hair if let down or that her head falls backwards because of the pig-tails. This might be similar to my Mugi when she couldn't stand straight at times and I had to make a few adjustments by tilting her head. But over all, as a last member of the K-On! Nendoroid series, I am extremely happy to get the entire set and I would highly recommend it to those that have seen the anime or read the manga. The K-On! Nendoroid Series can be bought online from the AmiAmi Online Shop or any Online Shop list from my previous posting (click here).

Kotobuki Tsumugi Nendoroid #102

Here's a short review on Kotobuki Tsumugi Nendoroid #102 from the K-On! series. Compared the Mio, Mugi has similar long hair which makes it a little difficult to pose and move her arms around. She comes with a fantastic keyboard and also a tea set with desserts, which suits Mugi's character. In terms of the stands, they are all the same but because Mugi has longer hair compared to the Mio, she is a bit difficult to pose. The weight of Mugi's head makes the character lean back, which makes it difficult to keep her up right. But this might be just my stand and I am not 100% sure if this applies to all the other Mugi Nendoroids. Other then the stand, everything else is pretty fantastic.
Tsumugi comes with the following set: (3) changeable faces, (1) Keyboard, (1) Keyboard stand, (1) tea set + cake, (3) pairs of arms, (1) set of lemon like eye brows, and (1) Nendoroid stand. The changeable faces are just like the ones what we see through the episodes and they also included a shock/clueless face, which is fun to play around with.

Tainaka Ritsu Nendoroid #94

Here's a short review on Tainaka Ritsu Nendoroid #94 from the K-On! series. When compared to the rest of the K-On! nendoroids, Ritsu is the only figure that comes with the most accessories in the series. Similar to Mio's Bass and Yui's Guitar, Ritsu has a full drum set, which also comes with changeable faces, and also her iconic (tankobu) "pain/swelling mark" that is usually made by Mio. One thing I don't like about the Ritsu Nendoroid is the drum chair. The legs on the chair is positioned in a way where Ritsu can easily fall over. The chair has 3 legs, two which are at the front and one at the back. I was hoping that the legs can rotate so that the two legs could be placed at the back for better support, but if you position Ritsu in a certain way, she will stand up properly.
Ritsu comes with the following set: 3 interchangeable faces, 1 changeable hair style, 1 drum set, 1 symbol set, a pair of drum sticks, drum stool, and her (tankobu) "pain/swelling mark". The colors of the Nendoroid are fantastic and I am very satisfied of the final finish of the figure as well as the accessories. Compared to the other K-On! Nendoroids, Ritsu is probably my most favorite one in the series. Her facial expression, accessories, and fine details was the reason why Ritsu is considered my favorite.

Akyama Mio Nendoroid #82

Here's a short review of Akiyama Mio (秋山澪) Nendoroid #82 from the K-On! series. Very similar to the previous review of Hirasawa Yui but with longer hair. She comes with 3 changeable faces, one of which is her moe look, along with her bass and amp for accessories. Although in my opinion Mio is a bit harder to pose with her long hair in the way, which makes her arms harder to move around. The details on the accessories are very well made and the stand itself is different from Yui's stand. Other then that, the Mio nendoroid is a fine addition to the K-On! series and I am very satisfied of it's quality and accessories that she comes with.
Akiyama Mio comes with the following: 3 changeable faces (2 normal/smile faces and one moe face), 3 pairs of changeable arms, and 2 pairs of changeable legs. She also comes with her bass strap and her bass along with a mini amp to go along with it. You can order your Akiyama Mio Nendoroid from Amiami Online store while supplies last.

Hirasawa Yui Nendoroid #86

Hirasawa Yui (平沢唯) Nendoroid #86
Here's a short review of the Hirasawa Yui Nendoroid by Good Smile Company. The details on Yui's Nendoroid is fabulous, especially looking at Yui's guitar as well as the little amp that comes with the figure. Although there is one detail I wish Good Smile would have done was to add or draw in some string lines on the guitar itself. But other then that I am pretty impressed with the fine details on the accessories.
The figure itself, Yui comes with 3 additional faces, an extra pairs of legs, 4 additional arms and 3 pairs of hands, which you can change around. The stand is a new model compared to other Nendoroids that I own. I find it a little un-stable at certain points, but the stand holds the figure from the bottom, similar to stand from the Cosplay Kagami Nendoroid #34. The colors on the nendoroid matches the anime color scheme perfectly and with the additional accessories, I am very satisfied with this K-On! Nendoroid series.
